I Don't Know What To Put Here..

Today, today, today.....back to school or should I say college and studying. Zzzzzz....... So I curi-curi holiday last Friday. Well, with the exception of going for Physics on Friday. Anyways, I decided to really have a holiday last week and I did. Time for me to get my head on my studies. Finals coming up and assignments waiting for me. That's why. I made it a point not to think of it all last week. This week have to liao. Cannot slack nemore. It's bad enough to see my Physics result and knowing the fact that my marks this time affected my overall marks. I can't get a HD for Physics nemore. So much for aiming for straight HDs. Sighs...


I went for a little shopping just now. Just for my neccessities. You know how you take a long time to save up for something and in just a split second, your money's all gone? That's what happened. I took one week just to save up for a moisturiser and in just one trip to Guardian, almost RM30 all gone for just one item. =( Why does it have to be that expensive? It's really not cheap to be a girl...


Oh! And I had this idea of wearing men's shirt. LOL. A new creation I'd say. Well, not really. Just that ladies in Kuching haven't worn anything like it yet. So let's just say I'm pioneering the trend here. It was in magazines a long time ago. Quite surprised that people didn't try it here. Cos it's actually very nice. Haihs...Kuching people will always be Kuching people. Not very daring to try new stuff till others have. I got the idea when I went to buy my shoes then I remembered seeing a girl wearing men's shirt at Spring. She's didn't look very pretty in it but....I thought that if I wore it with a nice belt, it would look nice. And looked nice it did. It was beautiful!


Well, when I told my mom that I wanted my dad's old working shirt, she was like,"What on earth do you want that for?" "I have and idea I'd like to try." As usual, she had that sceptical look on her face. It didn't look like it but I know when she's sceptical. The mother's child always knows. LOL. Yet again, I baffled her with my creation. My mom's always sceptical with my sudden clothes venture. Like how I cut my skirt and sew it and made it into a beautiful tube dress. Ah well, she should learn to trust my wild instincts when it comes to clothes. I know what I'm doing. =) Anyways, I don't have any photos of my creation to show you. My camera's not cooperating with me. I do hope to be able to post it here. You can use my ideas. After all, art is free.

Daily

Today, we're suppose to practice for the Patronal Dinner presentation at my place. So....rami lah my house today. After the practice and all, we just lepak2 in my house. Too lazy to go back I suppose. I don't mind lah. It's not everyday that I can have friends over. I actually like it. They loved my Brownies. =) Every crumb's gone now. I am happy....I just love to see the smile on their faces. It just spells satisfaction. Haha.


Lunch was a bit of a problem. I didn't expect them to stay long so I decided to cook maggie for all of them. There's also some leftovers from yesterday so I fed them with that. Then my mom came with fried rice....Thank God!! Cos I think Maggie Mee can't satisfy us. Hey you all, we should do this more often. =)


After they left, I decided to watch The Dark Knight. I didn't last throughout the movie. Hehe. I fell asleep....ahhahaha. Too tired lah. Woke up at around 5 something, almost 6, played a little bit of Dota. Yeah. I'm back to gaming. Just hope that I don't get all crazy bout it like last time.


I got them shoes! Woohoo!! My second choice shoes, that is. My first choice is actually some black heels but.....I can't walk around in campus with heels!! That is unpratical lar. I needed walking shoes. So I opted for the flats. They're not too bad. Really proud of my buy. Whee~~~

The Men In My Life (I suppose this is an appropriate title for this)

Today, had trouble waking up cos I'm still in my holiday mood. Sighs. I feel like the holiday's over even before I could close my eyes. LOL. Ah well. That's life. At least I managed to get my ass to class unlike SOME PEOPLE. Huhu.....I was alone in my class. The people I usually hang out with weren't there. Syaza's back in Miri celebrating Raya. Liang Wie came late but didn't go class. Phillex went to send his friend off to the airport. While me? I'm at class. Zzzz..... Well, let's look on the bright side. Bukan aku yang rugi. Ahahaha..... Actually Phillex and Liang Wie wanted to go for lab sessions but Mr. Richard said there weren't any. So tak jadi do our Friday ritual. You guys left me alone. Sobs.... I understand lah. You guys had something.


In the afternoon, went to open a BSN account with Arvin for our Yayasan Sarawak loan thingy. Then at BSN, met Josef. Hahaha.....small world. Anyway, I was carrying my laptop cos I thought of going for English class after that. So Arvin offered to carry my bag for me. Sweet eh? Haha....after dropping him off at campus, my sis said to me,"Wah, he very sweet ah, carry your bag for you." Then I said,"Biasalah. The guys that I know are sweet." I really thank God that He put guys that are kind and caring in my life. Cos being in Engineering, there's not many girls so I have to be close friends with guys. There is the fear that some guys may take advantage of me. But thank God, the guys in my class are good. They treat me like their own sister and friend. Well, Arvin's not the only one who carries my bag, Phillex does too. You guys are awesome!


Hanging out with guys has its disadvantage too. People tend to think a certain guy is my boyfriend. Ahahaha.....think again. Neither of them are. I know, I know, I like to play with people's minds so I just let them think so. Just to let you all know, I don't have a boyfriend. Hehe. I try not to get into a relationship plainly cos I don't think it's the appropriate time (I demand a lot on commitment, you see). Also, I'm trying not to look at what's on the outside but what's inside. But whatever happens, happens lah.


And tonight, I had this sudden urge to bake so I baked beautiful Chocolate Brownies. I believe I have perfected it after making it many times in my life. Hahaha....beautiful!

Kpg. Sadir

So yesterday I went to Kpg. Sadir, my friend's kampung. His kampung is sooooo nice!!! It's on the hills so it's definitely very beautiful. The river is so clean. The part where we went to has got a mini waterfall. Haha. So fun! After all the swimming, we eat. The cooking was long cos we have to start the fire and all. And we had to make skewers out of bamboos. Janet got cut by the parang so I had to take over. I really had to do something everytime. If I'm not poking the chicken onto the skewers, I'd be eating. I really don't know how many chicken did I take but I know I took alot. I was bored and hungry so I had to eat. It's either I eat or sleep. I didn't wana sleep cos I'd feel really lazy after that.


I love that kampung a lot cos it's the real Bidayuh kampung with all the longhouse and all. They don't use a stove. They actually have a fire place to cook. They even have those stairs they make with logs. Those are rare sightings in my kampung now. It's just so cool. After that trip, it really made me wana do my plan of dumping myself into my kampung and learn my Bidayuh. Cos I think that's the only way I can learn. To stay in the kampung on my own and to mix around with the people. That's the best way to learn Bidayuh.

Nights!

Raya!!

First day of Raya. I didn't think that I would go visiting today. Thought of cleaning my house but tak jadi cos I got invited to Azmi's place. Damn! His house is big.... Actually, my parents and Khira went visiting in the morning. They followed the DBNA group to visit all the big shot's houses. What I didn't know was they visited Azmi's dad and Khira took a picture with him(Azmi). xD Apparently, our parents know each other. o.O Luckily I didn't follow.....or face the embarrassment!! So I went to his place in the afternoon with my sister. When we reached his place, some girl greeted us and she was like "Jez!!" My sis was like "Elina!" (enda nemu spelling) Azmi and I were confused! We were like "you two know each other??" o.O Small world. Our paths crossed without us knowing it! Haks! Wonders..... Azmi told me that Rahim wanted to come but no transport. He should've told me cos I can pick him up. Forgot to ask him where's Mac's house cos I thought of giving Mac a surprise visit. LOL. And who was the one who said she didn't wana go cos she didn't get invited??? xD


In the evening, went to my uncle's house like usual for every Raya. Love my makcik's cakes and cookies! =) And we talked a lot cos that's the only time we can actually catch up with one another.


I think this is the best Raya so far. So unexpected man........caught me by surprise! I didn't think I would be so semangat to visit people.

More Shoes.

Today's a good day. =) A very good one. It seemed all too perfect. Well, it was. Went to learn driving as usual. Then Physics class. Azmi came, which I thought was a miracle. I thought he wasn't going to come since tomorrow's Hari Raya. Hehe. Him coming for class was unbelievable. Most of us were like o.O Impossible!!


After class, had lunch, send brother off for his futsal and went straight to Spring for some window shopping. I went to hunt for my shoes while my sis went to buy her mascara. I sidetracked a lil just now. Went to look at clothes a lil too much. Hehe. I wish I can buy that Charles & Keith shoe that I love so much but it's just way too expensive. Out of my league lah. A girl like me simply can't afford such a shoe. Sighs. But I did find something that I like. After much surveying and looking, I've made up my mind on which to buy. =) Hoping to get it this Saturday.


For dinner, the three of us went to Hornbill for steamboat. We met up with Calvin T., Carlson, Elly, Franklin and the others which I'm really lazy to list them here. Too bad Gwen couldn't make it. She hampir pokai. Actually I thought of not going cos I also almost pokai if I go but since my sis wana come, she chia us. Ah...the advantage of having older sisters. They end up paying. I really ate alot just now. I know I'm skinny but I actually eat a lot. But eating steamboat sucks lah. You have to wait for your food. The marinade is just sweet. I smell like food now. I stopped eating cos I was so sick of the marinade and butter, not cos I was full. I could still go on if it weren't for the lousy marinade. So I wasn't satisfied lah. No more steamboat for me after this.


Since we weren't satisfied, we decided to go Starbucks after that. Just to get some dessert to fill the extra space in our stomachs. Since Starbucks airport is near my house and my bestest (xD) guy friend works there, we went there lo... More satisfied after Starbucks. Oh, my bro told me something so ceridak over our meal. But it was funny at the same time lah.


P.S.: Gwen says I have a bottomless stomach. LOL.
